Why Sonic Technology Matters
Sonic toothbrushes use high frequency vibrations that’s up to 100× faster than manual brushing.
Most electric toothbrushes just rotate. Sonic toothbrushes clean in two powerful ways:
- Mechanical Brushing – Bristles rapidly scrub plaque and food particles off your teeth.
- Fluid Dynamics – The vibrations push water, saliva, and toothpaste into hard to reach areas, dislodging plaque up to 3–4mm beyond the bristles.
JOIN THE MOVEMENT
One Brush, One Tree
For every Sustainable Sonic Toothbrush purchased, we plant a tree with One Tree Planted, contributing to a greener, healthier world.

FAQs
How to use Sustainable Sonic Toothbrush?
- Press the power button for 3 seconds to turn on.
- Select your desired brushing mode.
- Brush for 2 minutes, following the 30-second reminders to switch areas.
- Rinse the brush head and handle after use.
- Charge with the USB-C cable; a full charge lasts up to 30 days with twice-daily use.
Can I use a Sonic Toothbrush with braces?
Yes, a sonic toothbrush is an excellent choice if you have braces! The high-frequency vibrations and powerful cleaning action can effectively remove plaque and debris around brackets and wires, which can be tricky to clean with a manual toothbrush.
If you are still unsure, it is best to consult your dentist.
How long does the battery last on a full charge?
The toothbrush battery lasts up to 60 days on a full charge, based on twice-daily brushing.
Is your Sonic Toothbrush also suitable for children?
Yes, our sonic toothbrush is suitable for children aged 12 and older. Its gentle cleaning modes and ergonomic design make it a great choice for teenagers and preteens, ensuring a thorough yet comfortable brushing experience as they transition into maintaining their own oral care routine.
How does the QuadPace timer work?
The QuadPace timer vibrates every 30 seconds to remind you to move to a different quadrant of your mouth, ensuring an even and thorough clean.
What are the bristles made from? Are they biodegradable?
Castor oil from the castor bean plant is processed into monomers (like sebacic acid) which are used to form nylon polymers. Nylon-11 (also called polyamide 11) is one such polymer that is 100% bio-based from castor oil. Chemically, these bristles look and perform much like regular nylon, so they’re not biodegradable. Bio-based bristles are considered greener because they don’t use virgin petroleum and can have a lower carbon footprint.
Are the bamboo heads home compostable?
Yes, the bamboo base only. Before composting, pull out the bristles and pop out the tiny inner plastic clip. Compost the bamboo; bin the bristles and clip (they’re too small to recycle).
How will I know when to replace a head?
Each head has a green wear indicator strip. It fades over ~3 months (timing varies), reminding you to replace, matching dentist guidance.
