If your Sustainable Sonic Toothbrush handle fails, order a Replacement Toothbrush Handle and send your old one back with the prepaid label. Once we receive your return, we ship your replacement. What can be fixed is repaired and put back to work; what can’t be saved is responsibly recycled -keeping products in use and sustainability in motion.

Where do refurbished toothbrushes come from?

They’re part of our Refurbished Program, old handles returned by customers are repaired, cleaned, and renewed for reuse.

What’s the difference between new and refurbished?

Refurbished handles are pre-owned units that have been professionally restored to full working condition. They perform the same as new but come at a lower environmental cost. It may possibly comes with minor cosmetic marks.

What kind of cosmetic marks should I expect?

Small scuffs or hairline marks—nothing that affects performance or waterproofing.

What happens to units that can’t be refurbished?

We harvest usable parts and send the remainder to recycling.

Do refurbished handles include a charger?

Yes, each set includes a refurbished handle, a new charger, and two new brush heads.

Are the bamboo heads home compostable?

Yes, the bamboo base only. Before composting, pull out the bristles and pop out the tiny inner plastic clip. Compost the bamboo; bin the bristles and clip (they’re too small to recycle).

How will I know when to replace a head?

Each head has a green wear indicator strip. It fades over ~3 months (timing varies), reminding you to replace, matching dentist guidance.
